By accessing or using Kompear — including signing up to the waitlist or creating an account — you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Kompear does not provide financial, investment, or business advisory services. All data and insights are provided for informational purposes only.

Eligibility

Account responsibilities
When you create an account you are responsible for: keeping your login credentials secure and not sharing them with third parties; ensuring the information you provide to us is accurate and up to date; any activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@kompear.io if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to disable accounts that we believe have been compromised or are being misused.

Acceptable use
You agree to use Kompear only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not: attempt to scrape, extract, copy, or redistribute data or outputs from the Kompear platform in bulk or for commercial resale; reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or methodologies underlying the platform; use the platform to build a competing product or service; introduce malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise interfere with the platform's operation; impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; use the platform in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.

Intellectual property
All content, design, code, trademarks, and materials on Kompear — including the Kompear name, logo, and the analytical methodologies and data intelligence outputs produced by the platform — are owned by or licensed to Scayla Apps Ltd. Nothing in these terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the platform or its intellectual property beyond the limited licence to use the service as described herein. Underlying third-party data (such as app listings from the Shopify App Store) remains subject to its respective owners' terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Kompear's outputs without our prior written consent.

Data is sourced from publicly available information and processed using proprietary methods; while we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee it. Nothing on the platform constitutes financial, investment, legal, or business advice. You should not make decisions based solely on information provided by Kompear without conducting your own independent verification and, where appropriate, seeking professional advice.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Scayla Apps Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use Kompear, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these terms or the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
